Project Manager for Municipal Class Environmental Assessments and water/wastewater infrastructure studies within Peel Region's Public Works department. Key Responsibilities
Leads Municipal Class Environmental Assessments for water/wastewater infrastructure, Master Plans, Risk Assessments, and capital plans in collaboration with internal staff and external agencies
Leads vulnerability and risk assessment studies of water/wastewater system to identify threats and critical assets
Assembles and leads project teams from internal and external resources; prepares project charters, scopes, and deliverables
Develops request for tender, proposals, and quotes; prepares technical specifications and procurement evaluations
Monitors project finances, progress, and scope changes; supervises consultants and contractors
Qualifications
University/College degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with minimum 5 years relevant experience (P. Eng preferred)
Strong technical knowledge of water/wastewater infrastructure, pressure zones, sewer systems, hydraulics, and condition assessment
Ability to interpret technical data, engineering drawings, and develop project scope and financials
Project management, planning, and leadership skills with ability to lead without formal authority
Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and database programs
