Project Manager III responsible for delivering water and wastewater treatment capital projects from conception through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and on budget under the guidance of the Senior Project Advisor.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and deliver capital water and wastewater treatment projects from conception through completion
Implement project management through budgeting, planning, design, schedule control, construction, and commissioning
Select, direct and supervise consulting engineers in design and construction of Regional capital works
Liaise with Municipal, Provincial and Federal Agencies to obtain necessary approvals and permits
Educate, coach, and mentor junior project and engineering staff
Qualifications
Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or similar, with Professional Engineering License
Minimum 5-7 years directly related experience in design, construction, contract administration and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment facilities
Experience delivering complex and innovative capital projects on schedule and on budget
Expert project management, strategic planning, and analytical problem solving skills
Strong oral and written communication, facilitation, negotiation and dispute resolution skills
