Full-time temporary project manager role reporting to the Program Manager Business Support, responsible for initiating, planning and overseeing implementation of division-wide organizational development priorities and providing strategic support to senior management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage organizational development projects including strategic planning, business planning, process improvement, employee engagement, and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives
Facilitate strategic planning exercises, workshops, and consultations with management and staff to support divisional strategy development and implementation
Manage assigned projects ensuring effective teamwork, communication, work quality and continuous learning
Conduct research into assigned areas considering field developments, corporate policies, legislation and initiatives by other government levels
Oversee multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project management services and monitor project expenditures within approved budgets
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in a professional discipline relevant to the job function combined with relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience
Considerable experience leading complex projects including project design, scheduling, budgeting, risk mitigation and deliverable management
Considerable experience improving organizational effectiveness through change management, business process improvement and organizational performance measurement
Considerable experience managing large numbers of projects and programs in fast-paced environments with competing deadlines and multiple tasks
