Temporary position (early December 2026 to early March 2027) responsible for physical maintenance and supervision of outdoor skating rinks, including ice preparation, maintenance activities, facility monitoring, and public safety under the arena supervisor's direction.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare ice surface at season start and perform all ice maintenance activities (clearing, watering, scraping, repairs)
Supervise rink and facilities, maintain order, enforce regulations and activity schedules
Inform public and direct them to appropriate locations
Ensure and apply occupational safety measures
Complete complaint and accident forms, daily statistical reports, and notify supervisors of damage or vandalism
Qualifications
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Experience in outdoor rink maintenance (asset)
Autonomy and strong sense of responsibility

Schedule: Tuesday–Friday 5:00 PM–9:15 PM plus watering twice weekly 9:15 PM–12:00 AM; Saturday 10:00 AM–4:00 PM and 6:00 PM–9:00 PM; Sunday 10:00 AM–4:00 PM; Monday closed (except primary/secondary school breaks)
