Part-time House Facilitator for Cultural and Heritage Programs at the City of Ottawa, responsible for enforcing theatre policies, maintaining health and safety standards, managing front-of-house operations including bar and coat check, and supervising personnel while ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enforce theatre policies and maintain procedures
  • Monitor health, safety and maintenance standards
  • Manage bar, coat check and souvenir revenues and inventory; prepare cash deposits
  • Monitor, train and provide guidance to front of house personnel
  • Provide emergency response treatment (First Aid/CPR) as required

Qualifications

  • Completion of Grade 12
  • Minimum 1 year supervisory experience interacting with the public
  • Hospitality experience preferably in theatre or entertainment venue
  • Current Standard First Aid, CPR and/or AED certificates
  • Smart Serve certificate from Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO)
