Peel Region seeks a Registered Dental Hygienist to provide preventive dental care and screening to children aged 0–17 in portable, mobile, and fixed clinics across the Region, supporting the Healthy Smiles Ontario program.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct dental screening and document conditions requiring treatment; manage follow-up case management via written, face-to-face, and telephone communication with parents/guardians
Provide preventive treatment including topical fluoride application, sealant placement, scaling, and client education in various clinic settings and schools
Maintain dental hygiene standards of practice with attention to dental reprocessing procedures
Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with internal and external parties
Participate in health promotion and oral health programming projects as required
Qualifications
Diploma in Dental Hygiene from a recognized accredited educational institute
Registered in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario
Minimum three (3) full-time years clinical dental hygiene experience
Valid 'G' driver's license with own transportation and ability to travel to various regional locations
Current CPR certification (level C)

35 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–4:30 pm (may require evening and weekend availability)
