Part-time Registered Practical Nurse position within Inclusive Recreation programs, providing nursing care to participants across various recreation and specialized programs in Ottawa. Role involves up to 24 hours per week across multiple city locations with flexible shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Provide all aspects of nursing care to participants in Inclusive Recreation programs and regular recreation programs
Perform specialized technical and medical interventions as required
Apply standard nursing practices and health and safety procedures
Work with participants with disabilities and those experiencing barriers to recreation access
Qualifications
Completion of 4-year B.Sc.N. degree or 2-3 year RN diploma or RPN diploma with current license
Member of the Ontario College of Nurses
Minimum 3-5 years related experience in Special Needs, Pediatric, Rehab, or Community nursing
Current Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) license with College of Nurses of Ontario
Current Standard First Aid, CPR and/or AED certificates and Crisis Prevention/Intervention training certificate
