Part-time Registered Practical Nurse position at Sunnyside Home in Kitchener providing resident care including medication administration, personal care, and health assessments under the direction of Registered Nurses.

Key Responsibilities

Assess residents physically and identify safety risks and health teaching needs each shift
Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and meal assistance
Dispense non-judgmental medications including scheduled narcotics, test blood glucose, and administer insulin injections
Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and document nursing information according to College of Nurses standards
Prepare and lead shift reports and assist with resident programs and transportation
