Key Responsibilities
Generate timely and accurate research and analysis on planning projects to inform staff recommendations
Prepare briefing notes, staff reports, and presentations incorporating graphic and statistical information
Create and update content on internal and external platforms including website copy, social media, and newsletters
Assist with community engagement initiatives including surveys, meeting notes, and presentations
Monitor demographic, housing, and real estate indicators and maintain related datasets
Qualifications
Post-secondary degree in urban or regional planning, or related degree or relevant combination of experience and degree
Minimum 2 years of experience in a research and analytical role
Demonstrated experience producing research reports and conducting benchmarking and trend analysis
Effective research, writing, and oral communications skills required
Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, SharePoint, presentation software, and Adobe Acrobat
