Key Responsibilities
Deliver quality, holistic resident care through administration and supervision of the Nursing Program
Supervise nursing staff in designated area
Emphasize resident safety and engagement
Provide specialized, restorative, supportive and palliative care for persons with dementia, disabilities and health problems
Qualifications
Completion of 4-year university degree in Nursing (BScN)
Minimum 1 to 2 years related experience, preferably in geriatric-gerontology or long term care setting
Registered Nurse (RN) current with College of Nurses of Ontario
Post-basic preparation in gerontology desirable
Membership in Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO) desirable
