Key Responsibilities
Schedule and conduct bi-weekly road network inspections to identify alterations and monitor contracted patrol services
Conduct field inspections and document non-compliance with permits and by-laws
Manage Regional Road Name Sign and Tree Maintenance Program and oversee Stormwater CCTV Inspection Program
Assist with Route Patrol Management System including work order issuance and closing
Attend meetings with municipalities, contractors, and internal staff to review traffic management plans and monitor project delivery
Qualifications
Diploma in Construction or Civil Engineering
Minimum 2 years relevant experience
Strong analytical, organizational, project management and problem-solving skills
Practical knowledge of Civil Engineering principles and Road Maintenance/Traffic Engineering practices
Comprehensive knowledge of OPS Standards, TAC Geometric Design Guide, Ontario Traffic Manual, and Highway Traffic Act
