About this job

This is a 6-month contract position (7 hours per week, variable shifts) responsible for accurate and efficient scheduling of staff across three long-term care homes, including time and attendance management, payroll coordination, and documentation maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform current and future scheduling in the time and attendance management system
  • Apply manager-approved changes to staff schedules in accordance with collective agreements and legislation
  • Maintain accurate documentation and complete daily edits in payroll system
  • Provide regular updates to home management regarding staffing status
  • Ensure accurate data entry in Workforce Management and Daily Attendance Tracker

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in office administration with at least two years' experience in office administration with emphasis on payroll and scheduling in a 24X7 long-term care or health-care environment
  • Experience with computerized scheduling, payroll, and workforce software
  • Strong computer ability using MS Office and Teams
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in team environment and independently
