Seasonal full-time labourer position reporting to Parks Supervisors, responsible for winter control operations, park maintenance, trail pruning, infrastructure repairs, and litter pickup across Richmond Hill from October 26, 2026 to March 26, 2027.
Key Responsibilities
Perform winter control operations, park and trail pruning, and infrastructure repairs
Work within a crew to maintain various parks and municipal properties
Investigate and assist with public enquiries, reporting issues to Foreperson
Perform duties in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety Act and City policies
Conduct waste and litter pickup throughout the City
Qualifications
High School Diploma
Experience in operation of winter maintenance equipment (sidewalk machines, hand shovelling, salting)
Experience in horticulture, parks maintenance, and road maintenance operations
Ontario Class G Driver's License in good standing with satisfactory current Driver's Abstract from MTO
Intermediate First Aid with CPR C and AED certification (required)
