Part-time role planning and implementing introductory sport programs with instruction, coaching, or coordination responsibilities. Position is within Recreation, Cultural & Facility Services department across various Ottawa locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement programme content for introductory sport programs
  • Instruction and coaching of introductory sport programs
  • Coordination of introductory sport programs
  • Maintain a fun and safe environment

Qualifications

  • Completion of Grade 10
  • Demonstrated experience in sport specialty area
  • Experience in staff supervision
  • Current Standard First Aid, CPR and/or AED certificates
  • AODA Customer Service/IASR Training
