About this job
Full-time temporary associate role supporting workforce planning and development activities for Toronto Building Division, including recruitment administration, training coordination, database management, and employee engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer divisional recruitment activities including co-op programs, career fairs, transfers, promotions and new hires in compliance with collective agreements and policies
- Coordinate training administration including participant registration, scheduling, feedback collection and eLearning module preparation
- Maintain databases for employee learning, recruitment, complement, workforce dashboards and organizational charts; prepare ad hoc reports
- Organize and analyze complex complement and recruitment reports to support decision-making; coordinate onboarding/offboarding reporting
- Support Technical Trainee Co-op Program implementation, employee engagement activities, working groups and divisional projects
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or equivalent education and related experience
- Considerable experience planning, organizing and coordinating workforce planning, training and recruitment initiatives
- Considerable experience preparing professional documents, reports and presentations; expertise in MS Office Suite
- Experience with computer-based HR and training systems such as ELI, SAP or SuccessFactors
- Knowledge of People & Equity policies, collective agreement provisions and legislative compliance; strong analytical and communication skills
