Key Responsibilities
Direct operation of family transitional housing including offsite services
Supervise and lead shelter case worker team in delivering case management services
Supervise shelter support worker team in assisting and supporting clients at the transitional site
Collaborate with City service areas, community partners, and agencies providing services to clients
Ensure clients receive services in a well maintained, safe and secure environment
Qualifications
Completion of 3 year university degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field
Minimum 5 years experience in social services work
Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in social services, health, residential services or related field
Knowledge of homelessness issues affecting families and comprehensive case management systems
Familiarity with applicable health and safety legislation
