Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Energy Management System project implementation including schedules, deliverables, funding, and contract administration
  • Engage staff across the corporation to establish and implement Energy Management System and lead ISO 50001 certification
  • Implement and manage corporate energy data and monitoring system to track utility consumption and energy performance
  • Monitor and report on energy performance, savings, and progress toward corporate energy and emissions reduction goals
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to improve energy efficiency and reduce operating costs across municipal facilities

Qualifications

  • University degree in Engineering, Energy Management, or similar program
  • Minimum five years' experience in energy management, building systems, or sustainability programs
  • Project management knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Ability to express ideas effectively verbally and in writing with strong analytical skills
  • Experience building energy monitoring systems, analyzing utility data, completing energy audits, and energy performance benchmarking
