Systems Integrator 1 for Toronto Children's Services Division, supporting digital transformation and innovative web/mobile solutions. The role involves application lifecycle services including requirements analysis, design, database development, coding, testing, and production support across complex computing environments.

Key Responsibilities

Provide services across application lifecycle: business/system requirements analysis, application and integration design, database development, data modelling, coding, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, deployment, and production support
Establish and maintain business relationships with clients to assess needs and determine requirements
Prepare project charters, statements of work, project plans, and status reports; identify risks and mitigation strategies
Support Oracle Forms and Reports applications, Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, application integrations, deployment pipelines, system interfaces, and web applications
Conduct training, prepare documentation, lead testing strategy development, and collaborate on implementation and rollout plans

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Considerable experience in systems analysis, requirements analysis, application design, coding, unit testing, troubleshooting, and production deployment
Considerable experience in database technologies, application integration, data exchange techniques including SQL, Oracle Database, and PostgreSQL
Considerable experience in Java development, Unix/Linux environments, Oracle Forms and Reports technologies, or DevOps/CI-CD practices
Experience in front-end development using HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Node.js, and front-end frameworks such as React; experience with Agile software development and collaboration tools like Confluence and Jira
