Part-time Ticket Taker/Usher for the Oakville Centre's Front of House team, working evenings, weekends, and some daytime shifts during theatre season (September to June). Provides customer service, handles ticket scanning, assists patrons, and maintains theatre spaces.

Key Responsibilities

Take tickets manually and with electronic scanners, verify correct seat designations
Greet and seat patrons, assist with program preparation
Handle or redirect enquiries from patrons, sponsors, retail clients, and artists
Keep front entrance, auditorium, and washrooms presentable; check and cleanup pre-show and post-show
Assist patrons requiring additional help, know evacuation procedures, setup tables/chairs/easels as needed

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in or completion of secondary school
Previous customer service and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environment; service or retail industry experience required
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Previous knowledge of theatre services an asset
First aid certification an asset
