Key Responsibilities
Perform vehicle servicing functions including fuelling, fluid level checks, cleaning, and minor maintenance/repairs
Inspect lights, body condition, tires, wheels, and windshield wipers; report defects to supervisor
Ensure security of cash forms and fareboxes during changing process and maintain records
Assign transit coaches for following day's route assignments
Perform general caretaking and housekeeping functions in department buildings
Qualifications
Completion of Grade 10
Successful completion of first year of any mechanical trades
Valid 1A driver's license
Satisfactory criminal record check
