Permanent full-time appraiser role for non-residential buildings division in Laval. The successful candidate will conduct property evaluations, analyze market transactions, negotiate with taxpayers, and prepare appraisal reports under the authority of the division chief.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct property evaluations and appraisals across commercial, industrial, and institutional fields
Analyze real estate transactions and market rates to estimate probable market value
Visit properties to verify physical characteristics, maintenance condition, functional and economic utility, and location features
Analyze rental market conditions and estimate potential revenues, occupancy rates, and operating expenses
Prepare appraisal reports, studies, procedures, and act as expert witness in court proceedings
Qualifications
Member in good standing of the Ordre des évaluateurs agréés du Québec
Bachelor's degree in administration (evaluation or urban and real estate management concentration) or equivalent
Six years of relevant experience in commercial, industrial, and institutional property evaluation
Knowledge of income approach method and Quebec Land Evaluation Manual (asset)
