Part-time contract Yoga Instructor position with the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury's Leisure Centre. Role involves planning and instructing yoga classes for all ages and abilities while maintaining a safe fitness environment and reporting on equipment maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize and instruct yoga classes for all ages and abilities
- Create and maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for participants
- Ensure group fitness equipment is cleaned after each class
- Identify and report maintenance and repairs to equipment as required
- Provide direct leadership to maintain group fitness class continuity
Qualifications
- Certified Yoga instructor (200 hour minimum) required
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
- Able to instruct a safe class for all levels of participants
- Proven interpersonal and relationship building skills with excellent communication abilities
- Ability to obtain a criminal record vulnerable sector check upon hire
