Provision of Transit Bus Stop Benches and Bench AdvertisingGeneralThe City of Burlington ("City") is seeking the services of a qualified Contractor to provide a comprehensive Transit Bench Advertising Program throughout the City.The Work includes the supply, installation, maintenance, repair, replacement and management of advertising benches located at approved Burlington Transit bus stop locations, together with the marketing, sale and administration of advertising displayed on those benches.The successful Bidder (“Contractor”) shall provide all labour, supervision, materials, equipment, vehicles, tools, transportation, permits, administration and incidentals necessary to perform the Work in accordance with this Request for Proposal, the Agreement and all applicable legislation, regulations, by-laws and recognized industry standards.Approximately 207 advertising benches are currently installed throughout the City. This quantity is provided for information purposes only and shall not be construed as a guarantee of future Work. The City reserves the right to add, relocate or remove advertising benches throughout the Contract Term to meet operational requirements.The Contractor shall assume responsibility for the existing Transit Bench Advertising Program and shall coordinate the transition from the current Contractor in a manner that minimizes disruption to Burlington Transit customers, advertisers and City operations.This procurement is limited to advertising benches. During the Contract Term, the City may, at its sole discretion, consider expanding the advertising program to include additional advertising-supported public amenities, such as waste receptacles or similar infrastructure. Any such expansion shall require the prior written approval of the City and may require an amendment to the Contract. Scope of WorkThe Contractor shall be responsible for the complete operation and management of the Transit Bench Advertising Program throughout the Contract Term.The Work includes all services necessary to market and sell advertising, provide and install advertising benches, inspect and maintain all advertising benches, respond to service requests, repair or replace damaged infrastructure, collect advertising revenue, provide the City's revenue share, maintain accurate records, prepare reports and perform all other Work necessary to successfully operate the Transit Bench Advertising Program.The Contractor shall perform the Work in a manner that provides safe, attractive and well-maintained public amenities while maximizing advertising opportunities and minimizing disruption to Burlington Transit operations, adjacent property owners and the travelling public. *Please log into your Bids&Tenders account to see full details and documents for this bid opportunity*
