22131 - Suppliers of Record for First Aid and Safety Supplies and Equipment

The District School Board of Niagara (hereafter referred to as the DSBN) intends to pre-qualify Vendors of Record for the supply and delivery of First Aid and Safety supplies and equipment. Pre-qualification will begin May 1, 2022 and ending August 31, 2023. Consideration will be given to renew the contract for four (4) additional one-year periods ending August 31, 2027.Pre-Qualification Objective:To establish Suppliers of Record for First Aid and Safety supplies and equipment, for repetitively used items with a minimum of administrative expense.The following are representative of the supplies and equipment which may be required, but are not limited to:• First Aid Kits and Refill Supplies• Safety apparel – Flame resistant or High Visibility apparel• Safety glasses• Nitrile Disposable gloves• Vinyl Disposable GlovesThis is not an all-inclusive list. Other types of supplies and equipment related to this First Aid and Safety may be required and will become part of the contract.There is no guarantee that any items will be purchased. Individual schools will purchase supplies and equipment on the basis of “best fit” at their discretion.The pre-qualified section consists of: ▪ Section A Core Pricing for specific items for which pricing shall remain firm.▪ Section B Minimum Discount off Catalogue Pricing for Additional Items. Where catalogue or online pricing varies, the discount should apply to the lower price unless otherwise indicated in the Bid Response.For Section B Minimum Discount off Catalogue Pricing for Additional Items only.The DSBN reserves the right to obtain quotes from multiple pre-qualified Suppliers for items, at our discretion, although we are not required to do so and may proceed with a pre-qualified Supplier providing the highest minimum discount percentage without further quotes.Suppliers that do not meet the original submission deadline are still eligible and encouraged to submit a proposal for Section B only. Suppliers may submit a Pre-qualification proposal at any time throughout the duration of the contract. Additional Supplier(s) will be added to the list for Minimum Discounts as they are received and reviewed by DSBN staff.
