About this RFP

Lake Huron Primary Water Supply System (LHPWSS) is inviting qualified contractors to submit Bids for the removal and replacement of existing handrails and guardrails at the Arva Valve Chamber. The successful contractor will be responsible for the field verification, design, fabrication, supply and installation of new engineered aluminum handrail and guardrail systems that comply with the Ontario Building Code (OBC) and applicable Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA) requirements, including the removal and disposal of the existing systems, preparation of engineered stamped drawings, inspections, and completion of all requirements necessary to achieve a safe and code-compliant installation.
