26-32 - Municipal Lab Building Site Preparation & Asphalt Paving

The Municipality invites qualified Bidders to submit lump-sum pricing and availability to complete the grading, subgrade preparation, granular base construction, and hot-mix asphalt paving at 73 Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook, NS.The new asphalt pavement shall be constructed to provide a continuous, seamless connection to the existing asphalt surfaces on site. Contractor shall supply all labour, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary.Work includes, but is not limited to:Site preparation and subgrade grading;Placement and compaction of granular base materials;Placement of hot-mix asphalt pavement;Proper jointing/connection to existing asphalt;Final grading for positive drainage;Clean-up and reinstatement of disturbed areas;Modify/extend existing driveway culvert to the North-West (12-meter total length) to accommodate larger vehicles;Removal of existing fence where asphalt is required; andAdd Stormwater infrastructure (i.e. catch basin and DR35 storm pipe) where necessary for appropriate drainage to ditch.
