This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville (“the Counties”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for External Audit Services, as further described in Section A of Appendix D - RFP PARTICULARS (the “Deliverables”) of the tender document.The Counties is an upper-tier municipality in Eastern Ontario. The Counties provides regional leadership, governance, and services to communities across Leeds and Grenville, working in partnership with its member lower-tier municipalities and neighbouring separated municipalities.The Counties’ geographic area includes ten lower-tier municipalities and is associated with three separated municipalities. While separated municipalities are outside the Counties’ upper-tier governance structure, this RFP offers the opportunity to obtain separately priced external audit services through the same competitive procurement process for the following municipalities for a five (5) year period: United Counties of Leeds and GrenvilleTownship of Edwardsburgh CardinalTownship of Elizabethtown-KitleyTown of GananoqueVillage of Merrickville-WolfordTownship of Rideau Lakes
