Only online submissions will be accepted for this opportunity.Request for Tender No. 2026-107For: Clay capping material for Landfill Capping for County of Simcoe LandfillsThe Corporation of the County of Simcoe is seeking Tenders from qualified contractors for the supply, loading, transportation, and delivery of clay and/or silty clay capping material to the County's landfill facilities located in Collingwood and Oro-Medonte. The material will be used in the construction of low-permeability landfill cover and capping systems and must meet all technical, environmental, and quality requirements specified in this Request for Tender.The Contractor shall provide all labour, equipment, vehicles, supervision, and incidentals necessary to source, load, haul, and deliver the required material. The material shall be free of contamination and suitable for landfill capping applications in accordance with the specifications contained in this Tender.Deliveries will be made to the following County landfill sites:Collingwood Landfill Site, 470 10th Line, Collingwood, OntarioOro Landfill Site, 610 Old Barrie Road West, Oro-Medonte, OntarioThe estimated quantity of material required under this Contract is approximately 20,000 tonnes; however, quantities are estimates only and may increase or decrease based on operational requirements. The County does not guarantee any minimum quantity of material.All material supplied under this Contract shall comply with the material specifications, testing requirements, and quality standards outlined in Section 7 of this Tender.The County intends to award the Contract on a site-by-site basis to the Bidder offering the lowest compliant total cost for each location. Bidders may submit pricing for one site, both sites, and any combination of locations identified in this Tender.
