26-0489 - Metro Vancouver Wastewater Treatment Plants Digester Cleaning Services

The Corporation is seeking to procure the services from a qualified Proponent to provide Digestor Cleaning services at four (4) Wastewater Treatment Plants in Metro Vancouver region. The work includes the cleaning of anaerobic digesters. The digestors vary in size, configuration, and operating conditions and include concrete or steel tanks, fixed or floating roofs, and different mixing systems. The work includes the provision of all labour, equipment, materials, transportation, and odor control measures required to safely remove, handle, dewater and transport all solids and residual material from the digesters to specificized locations per appropriate methodology - as specified in Section 01 11 10 – Summary of Work.Proponents are highly encouraged to attend site meeting at Iona Island Wastewater Treatment Plant as per Part 3.8, to have an understanding of the work involved.
