RF-IS-26-002 - RFP for Professional Services for East Pike Creek Road, Beckett Lane, and Buckwheat Lane Watermain Replacement

The Municipality of Lakeshore is a lower tier municipality in southwestern Ontario. The Municipality has a population of approximately 40,000 and is one of the fastest growing municipalities in the region. The Municipality is one of the largest municipalities in Essex County by size with a mix of urban and rural areas. The Municipality of Lakeshore is planning to replace the existing watermain from Old Tecumseh Road southerly along East Pike Creek Road, Buckwheat Lane, and Beckett Lane. The existing cast iron watermain pipe was installed in 1959. Due to the age and condition of the pipe, the Municipality is planning to replace and upgrade it. The Municipality is seeking qualified proponents to submit responses according to the Scope of Work below in Appendix B.See Appendix B for project details. Consultants are encouraged to elaborate, expand, or modify any step based on their experience and understanding of the project wherever possible.
