About this RFP

The Town of Ingersoll is currently seeking responses from interested and qualified general contractors (Proponent) to provide the services necessary to undertake the installation of a 600mm dia. trunk sanitary sewer, 300mm dia. watermain and road reconstruction on Wallace Line and Thomas Street. The work shall consist of the supply and installation of 1250m of 600mm dia. trunk sanitary sewer on Wallace Line and 1850m of 300mm dia. watermain on Wallace Line and Thomas Avenue. Extensive dewatering is anticipated during the installation of the sanitary sewer. A watermain crossing (open cut) c/w steel casing through the CPKC Railway ROW is required to be installed on Thomas Street. Coordination with the railway authority will be necessary. Upon completion of the installation of the sanitary sewer and watermain, the existing roadway is to be reconstructed to a rural profile. Construction is to begin in early spring of 2027 and shall be completed by late October 2027.Successful Respondents will be invited to bid on the Tender. Details of which will be provided in the Tender with the engineering drawing package.
