WILSON EDUCATION CENTER Notice to BiddersNotice is hereby given that the Governing Board of the Wilson Education Center will receive proposals for participating school corporations, municipalities, libraries, governmental entities and higher education entities serviced by the Indiana Approved Educational Shopping Cooperative (IAESC Procurement), GovPro and Associate Members until October 26th, 2026 at 2:00 PM EDT (Local Time) on the following items: #26.9 Fire Suppression and Fire SprinklersPlease register as a vendor at Bids and Tenders - WESC to receive a copy of this bid. Proposals shall be properly and completely executed as indicated in the instructions to bidder. The Wilson Education Service Center is actively looking for proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide fire protection and fire suppression systems, equipment, inspection, testing, maintenance, repair, emergency service, coordination, and documentation.The intent of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to establish one or more competitively procured contracts that participating entities may utilize for fire protection services and related equipment.The selected contractor(s) shall provide professional services in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, codes, standards, manufacturer requirements, and authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements.Services may include, but are not limited to:Automatic fire sprinkler systemsFire suppression systemsCommercial kitchen fire suppression systemsFire extinguishersFire extinguisher cabinets and related equipmentFire protection backflow prevention devicesFire pumps and related equipmentFire alarm system coordination where related to suppression systemsInspection and testingPreventive maintenanceRepairs and replacementEmergency serviceSystem modificationsTesting and certificationDeficiency identification and correctionService coordinationDocumentation and reportingWESC intends to establish a cooperative purchasing contract that provides participating entities with competitive pricing, reliable service, transparent documentation, and access to qualified fire protection professionals.Multiple contracts may be awarded.The intent of this RFP is to establish competitively awarded contracts that may be utilized by Indiana school corporations, charter schools, colleges, universities, municipalities, counties, libraries, parks departments, nonprofits, and other eligible governmental entities.The Governing Board reserves the right to accept or reject all bids and to waive any informality therein.
