2026-054 - Winter Grader Rental with Operator Services

A general, but not necessarily complete or exact, description of the Work for Contract 1 and the optional Contract 2 is as follows:The Work consists of providing winter grader rental services with qualified operators, including all labour, equipment, supervision, fuel, maintenance, and accessories necessary to perform winter maintenance operations on municipal roads for the City of Clarence-Rockland.Contract 1 is the required primary contract and includes winter maintenance operations on approximately 35 km of municipal gravel roads. The City may also require services on other gravel and asphalt roads within the municipal road network as operational requirements dictate.Contract 2 is optional and provisional. The City may, at its sole discretion and subject to operational requirements and available budget, activate Contract 2 for an additional grader and qualified operator. Nothing in this ITT obligates the City to award, activate, or use Contract 2.The Work includes, but is not limited to, snowplowing, snow removal, ice control support activities, patrols, standby services, and all other winter grader operations necessary to maintain municipal roads in accordance with the Contract Documents and the City's operational requirements.
