EPCOR is reviewing its current substation automation infrastructure and searching for opportunities for improvements or updates to our existing equipment for all future substation builds and life-cycle upgrade/replacements The substation automation network consists of several components, where the following items are being re-evaluated:ItemDescription1LAN “A” Network Switch for SA network and associated equipment2LAN “B” Network Switch for SA network and associated equipment3Redundancy Copper-Based Network Switch and associated equipment4Redundancy Fiber-Based Network Switch and associated equipment5GPS Clock #1 and associated equipment6GPS Clock #2 and associated equipment7Power Quality Meter8I./O System and associated equipment EPCOR reserves the right to award one, multiple, or all equipment categories to different Proponents based on the results of the evaluation process. The Successful Proponent(s) (there will be at least two Successful Proponents as LAN “A” and LAN “B” devices must be different vendors for network resiliency and reliability) shall supply a portion of the listed components of EPCOR’s substation automation network. Value is added if a Proponent is able to supply a LAN and either or both redundancy network switches. This is a supply only contract, and no installation or commissioning services are required by the Owner. The proposed components will be evaluated by the Owner based on mandatory requirements and compliance with other weighted requirements, as further discussed below. Proponents must meet the mandatory critieria and strive to comply with the non-mandatory technical requirements detailed in the specifications found in Schedule D to become a Successful Proponent.EPCOR makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of the information contained in this RFP.
