RFP #26-074 - Emergency Dispatch Media Logging System

The City of Yellowknife is seeking proposals for the installation and maintenance of a media logger system within the City’s Public Safety Communication Centre (PSCC) to replace an existing, end-of-life system. The PSCC provides 24/7/365 emergent and non-emergent dispatch for fire, rescue, EMS, municipal enforcement, and public works. The current average media traffic at the PSCC is 6400+ inbound/outbound phone calls and 8100+ radio transmissions a month. There are two separate dispatch locations (a primary and backup site). The media recorder must be secure, reliable, and capable of providing continuous recording and data storage across multiple phone and radio channels. The existing system will remain operational until the replacement system has been tested and approved for use, therefore integration with existing systems and the transition of services must be considered.
