Q-2026-11 - 2026 Pedestrian Crossover

The intent of this project is to supply all labour, materials, equipment, and services required to install a new Pedestrian Crossover (PXO) at the intersection of Mornington Street and Princess Street. Work shall be completed in accordance with the Ontario Traffic Manual Book 15 – Pedestrian Crossing Treatments, the project Specifications, and the General Terms and Conditions.The Contractor will be responsible for installing the complete PXO system, including signage, pavement markings, RRFB assemblies, overhead beacon lighting, electrical components, removals, and all associated work required for a fully operational pedestrian crossover. The PXO shall include a programmable Polara AODA‑compliant audible pedestrian pushbutton system.Concrete sidewalks, curbs, ramps, and tactile plates associated with this crossing will be constructed separately by the City’s Contractor following completion of this contract.
