2026-146T - MISSISSAUGA ROAD & BUSH STREET RECONSTRUCTION & IMPROVEMENTS, PROJECT 14-4065

This Contract is for improvements on Mississauga Road from Olde Base Line Road to Caledon Mountain Drive, and on Bush Street from Winston Churchill Boulevard to Shaw's Creek Road, within the limits of the Region of Peel and Town of Caledon. The work to be done includes, but is not limited to, the following: removals of existing gravel and asphalt road surface, tree removal, earthworks excavation, construction of granular road base, new asphalt pavement, drainage culvert replacements, dry culverts for wildlife passage, gravity retaining walls (Stone Strong Retaining walls or Agency approved equivalent), guide rails, curbs, paved shoulders, rip-rap and river stone, signing and pavement markings, landscaping, illumination at intersections, and all other works necessary to complete the construction in accordance with details set out in the Contract Documents. This project is located within highly sensitive environmental areas that include wetlands (including Provincially Significant Wetlands), significant woodlands, Jefferson Salamander breeding habitat (an Endangered Species), a cold-water watercourse crossing (Brook Trout habitat), Butternut trees and various other significant flora and fauna.The bid document will be posted https://peelregion.bidsandtenders.ca when available.
