Housing RFT-04-2026 - Request for Tender for Snow Removal

The Cochrane District Services Board (CDSB) invites qualified, experienced contractors to submit tenders to provide snow removal and winter maintenance services for designated CDSB Housing Services properties in Matheson, Cochrane, Iroquois Falls, Ramore and Val Gagne.The successful contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive winter maintenance services, including:Snow ploughing and clearing of parking lots, driveways, entrances, exits, access roads, ramps, sidewalks, pathways, and designated pedestrian areas;Salting and sanding services to maintain safe conditions;Snow removal and hauling services as required;Emergency and on-demand response services during winter weather events; andProvision of all labour, equipment, materials, supervision, insurance, licenses, reporting, and associated resources necessary to perform the work. The anticipated contract term is from November 1, 2026 to March 31, 2029. Contractors must demonstrate sufficient experience, equipment capacity, qualified operators, and the ability to provide services 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, including holidays.Submissions will be evaluated based on mandatory compliance requirements, contractor experience and references, equipment and staffing capacity, service response capabilities, and pricing.
