RFP 2026-069 - External Audit Services

In accordance with the Ontario Municipal Act, the City of North Bay is seeking Proposals from Chartered Professional Accountants, holding a Public Accountants License to provide audit services and other professional services as outlined below for a maximum five-year term (fiscal years 2026-2030) subject to satisfactory performance.Section 296 (1) of the Ontario Municipal Act states that “A municipality shall appoint an auditor licensed under the Public Accounting Act, 2004 who is responsible for: (a) annually auditing the accounts and transactions of the municipality and its local boards and expressing an opinion on the financial statements of these bodies based on the audit; and (b) performing duties required by the municipality or local boards.Services are to be performed for the following entities:The Corporation of the City of North Bay North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit North Bay Public Library Board Board of Management for the Downtown Improvement Area (DIA)North Bay Jack Garland Airport Corporation The Business Centre Nipissing Parry Sound Inc (TBC).North Bay Hydro Holdings LimitedInvest North Bay (estimated for 2026 only)**Only Online Submissions will be Accepted **
