R26-250 - Joe Rich Fire Department Wildland Engine

SUMMARY:Through this Request for Proposals, the Regional District of Central Okanagan invites Proposals for the design, manufacture, supply and delivery of one new Wildland Type 3 Engine (the “Equipment”), for the District’s Joe Rich Fire Department (“JRFD”).The District’s technical specification requirements for the Equipment is provided as part of the RFP document, and is based upon design and performance criteria which have been developed by the JRFD based on the department’s unique needs. Respondents are required to carefully read these technical specifications and address each requirement fully in their proposal. Alternatives or equivalents to specification requirements or named Manufacturers may be considered in some cases, as per the notes in the RFP.Further details on the District’s minimum specification requirements plus preferences are provided in the RFP Documents.
