About this RFP

The work includes the provision of loading, shuttling, transportation and disposal services for fly ash material generated from Metro Vancouver’s Waste-to-Energy Facility (WTEF), as detailed in SCOPE OF SERVICES, Section 00 24 10. The work includes the provision of the trailers and/or containers/chassis for loading and hauling purposes, whether by road or rail. Disposal of fly ash must be to a landfill permitted to accept such waste. The resulting contract is anticipated to start on March 4, 2027 and will expire on March 3, 2033, with an option to extend by two (2) additional two (2) year terms subject to mutual agreement by the parties.
