About this RFP

SUMMARY:Through this Request for Proposals, the Corporation of the District of Peachland invites Proposals from suitably-qualified organizations for the provision of annual street sweeping services, to be performed each Spring for the District’s approximately 63km of paved roadways within the District boundaries. As a result of this RFP, the District will select one preferred Contractor that will enter into a Standing Offer Agreement for provision of the District’s street sweeping services for an initial term of 3 years, covering the Spring 2027, 2028, and 2029 sweeping seasons. The Term of the Standing Offer Agreement may be extended by two further years, covering the 2030 and 2031 Spring sweeping seasons at the District’s sole option and subject to mutual agreement between the parties on extension pricing and terms. While the District fully intends to utilize the Contractor to perform its annual street sweeping program as detailed further in this RFP, the District does not guarantee that the Contractor will be the exclusive provider of all sweeping-related services for the District during the Standing Offer Agreement term, and the District may use different vendors for related services such as parking lot sweeping.Further details on the requirements and how to submit a proposal are contained in the attached RFP Documents.
