26-28 - General Building Contractor Services - Standing Offer List

The Municipality intends to create a Standing Offer list for General Building Contractor Services for Low Value Construction work (per Policy FIN-05-006, work with an anticipated cost less than or equal to $100,000.00 inclusive of non-recoverable HST) related to Municipal infrastructure such as administration and office buildings, treatment plant buildings, pump station buildings and other outbuilding structures.The Standing Offer is intended to provide an efficient procurement mechanism for individual Low Value Construction requirements and is not intended to replace the Municipality’s obligation to conduct an Open Competition. The Standing Offer will not be used to divide or structure purchases for the purpose of avoiding an applicable procurement threshold. The Municipality may obtain construction services outside the Standing Offer List where permitted or required by the Municipality's Procurement Policy.
