2408188 - RFPQ - General Contractor - Saanich Peninsula Hospital - Medical Surgical Inpatient Unit Reno - General Contractor Pre-Qualification

This Request for Pre-Qualification (“RFPQ”) is intended to establish a list of General Contractors who will be eligible to submit competitive tenders for the construction of the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Medical Surgical Inpatient Unit Renovations at 2166 Mt. Newton Cross Road, Saanichton, BC (“the Project”).The Project consists of a multi-phased renovation within an existing and fully operational acute-care hospital. The successful General Contractor will be required to coordinate and execute the Work while maintaining ongoing hospital operations, patient and staff access, infection prevention and control requirements, life-safety systems, critical building services, and clinical circulation.Only Respondents successfully pre-qualified through this RFPQ process will be invited to participate in the subsequent Request for Tender (“RFT”) for construction of the Project.Design work is being completed by Island Health’s consultant team, with the construction drawings and specifications to form part of the subsequent RFT procurement.
