City of Kawartha Lakes: Cultural Grant Application: $73,761
"The City of Kawartha Lakes engaged Onager Solutions' grant writing services to complete a Creative Communities Prosperity Fund Application. Mike Janke completed the grant research and recommended this program when I explained our Municipality’s goals and objectives. Mike helped to form the project and bring all of the key industry partners together in order to make the submission. By working with the provincial representative, Mike was able to clearly understand the program guidelines to ensure our application would be successful.
"By establishing a grant action plan, all of the required documentation was completed within a short window of opportunity in order to have the application in on time. Mike successfully secured $73,761 in provincial funding to support our Cultural Planning Project. This was one of the highest grant amounts this program awarded in 2011. This grant application was pivotal in gaining City Councils support for the project, and would have not likely been feasible without Onager’s services and the grant funding.
