The Township of Georgian Bay is requesting proposals for the provision
of general engineering services. The areas of engineering assistance
include but are not necessarily limited to:
• Design and preparation of tender specifications for Township projects
such as road maintenance, resurfacing, culvert
replacement/maintenance, sidewalk replacement, drainage, etc.;
• Preparation and submission of environmental permit applications
including but not limited to: Fisheries and Oceans; Ministry of Natural
Resources; Trent Severn Waterway; Ministry of Natural Resources;
• Preparation of design schematic as necessary using AutoCAD tools;
• Liaison with regulatory authorities and other consultants and interested
parties in Township projects;
• Support of staff in presentations to Township Council and resident
groups;
• Support in the preparation of grant applications for provincial and
federal funding applications;
• Stormwater Management;
• Preparation of tender and contract documents for road construction
projects;
• Provision of construction oversight and contract administration;
• Review of land development engineering submissions and inspection
of development construction;
• Provision of engineering and construction review services for land
development proposals and projects.
