TRAINING SERVICES
•Transportation of Dangerous Goods regulations in accordance with Section 6.2 defining parameters for adequate training.
•Chemical spills and Emergency Preparedness & Response based on CAN/CSA-Z731-03. Spills training would include combination of lecture, table top and practical exercises.
•Training in the Waste Management Regulations including Ontario Regulation 347 – General Waste Mgmt., Ontario Regulation 362 PCB Mgmt., and Environmental Protection Act. Programs include waste characterization, HWIN registration and LDR Requirements.
•Customized Municipal training programs in support of the MSHW operations including lab packing, chemical segregation and compliance with ECA permits issued by MOE.
•Customized training programs for the utility sector including a comprehension of Directors Instructions for PCB storage sites, management of PCB’s from field operations to disposal mandates, reporting requirement to provincial and federal agencies.

At the University of Guelph I earned a Bachelors Degree Environmental Science, majoring in Natural Resource Management and a specialization in Environmental Administration. I have the skills necessary to successfully provide solutions for Municipal Waste Management Programs. My knowledge of environmental program planning, working with a diverse variety of audiences and producing educational materials will be beneficial to any position. I have proven skills in customer service, communications, time management, team and independent work environments, accountability, analytical skills, organizational and report writing skills. I enjoy speaking to and am very comfortable working with groups and sharing my knowledge and passion for our environment. I have had the opportunity to speak with various audiences from school children, service groups, professional organizations, boards of directors, academic conferences and technical groups. Having been a member of community action groups from both the municipal and public perspectives I thoroughly understand the dynamics that surround these important and valuable interactions between the public and various agencies. I believe that team work and excellent customer service combined with solid information resources is the key to successfully .
