ADDENDUM 1
QUESTION & ANSWER

This Addendum forms part of the Request for Tender documents package, #2024-009 – Road Sweeping and is to be read, interpreted, and coordinated with all other parts accordingly.
Addendum 1 contains the following clarifications:

1 Can you provide the location and information on dump sites, cost of tipping and hours of operation? The locations of dump sites are as follows:

• 11 Humphrey Drive – Humphrey Public Works Yard
• 39 Star Lake Road – Seguin Landfill

There will be no fee for dumping.

Hours of operation will fall outside of the Townships normal hours. The Township will be happy to work with the successful bidder to provide them with access as needed to help expedite operations.
2 Does the Township of Seguin allow contractors to pull water from hydrants or water towers? It has been confirmed with the Seguin Fire Department that access to various dry hydrants around the Township will be available for the successful bidders use for this contract. Locations are as follows:
• Roberts Lake Road Boat Launch
• Come By Chance Road Turnaround
• Rosseau Waterfront
• Horseshoe Lake Boat Ramp – 7B Allan Crescent
• Maple Lake Boat Launch – 36 Tally Ho Swords Road
• Whitfield – 312 Oastler Park Drive
It should be noted that the connection on the dry hydrant is a 6” NH fitting.See aerial markups appended to this addendum for further location details.
