ADDENDUM NO. 1
This addendum has been issued by the Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department to clarify the model of Franklin pump that is currently in use. This will ensure that a replacement piece of equipment is compatible and has the same or similar functionality.

2.0 SCOPE OF SERVICES
The selected contractor will be responsible for providing the following equipment as part of their submission:
1. The supply and delivery of one (1) 100 horsepower, 8 inch diameter, 3 phase submersible motor that is 575 volts. The unit quoted must be equivalent to the existing motor, which is a Franklin submersible motor with the following specifications;
o Double Flanged NEMA mounting design
o Stainless steel splined shaft
o StatorShield™ Franklin’s six feature encapsulation system
o High capacity Kingsbury type water lubricated thrust bearing
o Factory filled with non-toxic water soluble fill solution
o Field replaceable lead
o Full 3525 rpm 60 Hz design point
