The Municipality of West Grey is proposing to construct a new headquarters for its municipal police service. West Grey Council has appointed a “West Grey Police Service Building Committee” to act as an advisory committee to Council. This Expression of Interest (EOI) is to invite architects, general contractors and/or design/build firms to conduct an education workshop for the Committee.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
– Planning and assessing needs
– Managing the process
– Current design trends
– Best practices

The Building Committee will receive submissions on or before 12 noon, January 9, 2018. Submissions should be no more than six (6) pages in length and should include a brief summary of your experience, similar work, or experience in emergency services construction. Do not submit workshop material. Submissions received after the deadline will not be opened or considered. Submissions may be mailed or delivered to the Municipality of West Grey, 402813 Grey Road 4, RR2 Durham, Ontario N0G 1R0, or submitted by email to [email protected], or by fax to 519.369.5962.

On completion of Committee review, proponents will be contacted regarding scheduling. The Municipality of West Grey and the West Grey Police Service Building Committee are not obligated, and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all responses to this EOI.
